Add Libraries to a Project the quick way

Ken

When you are working between projects you often find the need to add additional Libraries.  It is prety frustrating having to navigate through the same repetitive folders trying to find that special Library… usually the one you keep meaning to move to a more sensible location ;-)

If you open the Library Manager you can add more Libraries using the regular Add… button which will take you to the Finder or Explorer to locate your Library.

However, a better option is to use the pull down option next to Add… as highlighted below:

This time, rather than launch the Finder or Explorer, a pop up appears which will show the recently added locations:

Once you have added additional Libraries to projects you will find them listed here making the process in the future much quicker.

“The decision to adopt Archicad as our company’s only BIM modeling platform was the best decision I ever made! Not only do we produce professional three-dimensional details and artistic construction documents, we are able to quickly update the drawings anytime a revision occurs. Graphisoft provides best-in-class support and has been very responsive to our needs.”

"As the complexity of our designs have increased, Archicad has proven to be the tool that allows us to work through our designs in 3D, then allows us to provide documents that demonstrate our design intent."
