Add Libraries to a Project the quick way

Ken

When you are working between projects you often find the need to add additional Libraries.  It is prety frustrating having to navigate through the same repetitive folders trying to find that special Library… usually the one you keep meaning to move to a more sensible location ;-)

If you open the Library Manager you can add more Libraries using the regular Add… button which will take you to the Finder or Explorer to locate your Library.

However, a better option is to use the pull down option next to Add… as highlighted below:

This time, rather than launch the Finder or Explorer, a pop up appears which will show the recently added locations:

Once you have added additional Libraries to projects you will find them listed here making the process in the future much quicker.

"Chris and Link provide tremendous customer service and technical support. We run a small office in a small city, so our training opportunities are largely limited to online videos and tutorials. Chris and Link provided personalized training on a recent visit to our office, which has helped us take the next step in productivity. Using ARCHICAD on MAC computers is a no-brainer for us - especially with BIM6x supporting us so thoroughly."

"I’ve had the pleasure of working with Chris Clark of BIM6x for a number of years now with regard to my use of the BIM software application, ARCHICAD. At all times I’ve found him and his associates to be very knowledgeable, professional and helpful in every way.”
