Remove Detail and Worksheet Boundaries

Ken

When you create a new Detail Drawing or Worksheet – you will often see a dashed line boundary appearing.  This shows the zone that was initially highlighted in the creation of the document… and the first thing most people do is delete it!  However, the next time you rebuild the view, it will come back, and keep coming back!

To prevent this, you can uncheck the option in the Work Environment that will prevent the boundary being created in the first place.  To deactivate this option, go to Options> Work Environment> More Options:

"I attended a multi day training session with Chris and Link of BIM6x. Their knowledge of Archicad, organization and accessibility during the course were exceptional. I left the class feeling more confident using Archicad, with many useful techniques to save time and produce better drawings and models. It was extremely helpful to work with instructors that know the software inside and out and who were able to share their knowledge in a clear and enjoyable way."

"We at Slichter Architects are glad to have BIM6x as our Archicad provider. BIM6x provides prompt support and it is nice to know that when an issue comes up they make themselves available to quickly provide direction and insight in an effort to minimize our issue and maximize our production."
